Can I turn off Crossplay (PC)

AA is a cancer in game anymore. It's gotten so out of control with how OP it gets year after year. Between my age (58) and that I game old-school with using only my wrist and not my full arm for mouse movement... I'm already at a massive disadvantage in most game. But to then be pooped on by literal no-skilled AA time after time is pathetic. Snapping from one player to the next across the map and getting mostly headshots... it's like CoD all over again. I honestly miss the days of BF2 and Dedi servers... when there was no crossplay garbage.

Still waiting on an official answer. Guess I'll be cancelling that pre-order and I'll just buy it after launch, but only if it's confirmed that PC will be able to disable it.

I often wonder if console players can use the aim assist to track players through smoke, always consoles players when checking who killed me. 

I only have cross play turned on for 2042 or I would spend hours waiting for a game but I do prefer it turned off. 

Yeah I'm getting absolutely tired of getting insta lazered by aimbots and assists, wanted to turn off crossplay but no such option on pc. Deal breaker for me and i think I'm not alone on the issue.

I don't think so reason is money 😁just ask apex players

If I, as a PC player can not opt out of playing against console players, who have their aimbots preinstalled, I'm not going to even consider buying this.

Consoles are for console games.  But since they have such a large market share, we get these handicapped games due to the limits of handicapped console platforms.

Same from my side. Want to be able to turn cross play with console autoaimers. This - with lack of dedicated servers - is no buy for me.

Yes you can turn off playing against controller players. Don't buy the game.

Then don't turn it off if you play with a controller. Aim assist AND lower recoil.

But the rest of us wants it disabled
