Cross Play ?

On battlefield 6 open beta weekend. Will I be able to use the EA friends to play with a friend who's on Xbox while I'm on the PC?

Yes you will, if you predownload the game you can currently add them with there gamertag or ea ID

  • PC is hard locked into having crossplay on.

Off topic - If you are a "friend" to this person, convert them to PC asap as well.

I'd love to do that, but not all people can afford to build a PC or pay for a prebuilt thats worth a **bleep**. So a lot of my friends are stuck on console cause it's cheaper.

  • I'm not the only one who would prefer this, but there's a substantial body of players that would like console specific cross-play. It's high time for that to be a filter as well. Console players are the majority of BF players. We don't want to be limited to just internal Consoles, but all Consoles to play against players with relatively similar aim input & skill. I can't be the only one tired of losing a gun fight to PC player who laser beams with the M4A1.

TLDR: BF6 should have Console locked cross play for those that don't want to be disadvantage by PC, but still enjoy the additional player count pool.

  • Crossplay options should include platform AND controller type.

Controllers have aim assist and recoil reduction and I have no desire to play against that if they are on console or PC makes no difference.

If I were a console player I wouldn't want to play against M&K on console or against controller on PC.

As a PC player I'm currently forced to cross-play with all. No choice given. Abysmal.
