Crossplay on consoles doesnt work as promised.
People from DICE said it would usually matchmake with other console players and just in case of no console players avalaible to fulfill the server it would matchmake a few PC players.

It will, please bear in mind that the monitor icon next to peoples names just means they are on a different platform than xbox.
Also with limited server space right now, they most likely dont have servers reserved just for console.
The most likely thing is that the matchmaker will see that a lobby is primarily console and try to put other console users in that lobby if there is space
I don’t believe this icon thing is the case.
monitor icon is definitely referring to PC.
Im on Xbox and I get a controller icon when I get killed by (what I think are) PS5 players. They used the same icon set up in 2042.
