Crouch binding stuffed

On the PlayStation 5 if you change the crouch binding from circle to R3 then circle still crouches the player. 😬

I've read that changing the binding on the PC has a similar effect. 

This also prevents you from rebinding mounting a gun to the circle key from R3 and instead you have to find something else to bind it to. Well, you can rebind it but you can't use it as every time you try to mount you crouch instead.
