Dualsense has less recoil than xinput/xbox pad on PC

Saw a discussion around the balancing of controller recoil vs keyboard and mouse, in particular someone showing recoil with a dualsense vs keyboard and mouse.

Decided to hop in and try it myself and what I noticed is that xinput/xbox pads have the same recoil as keyboard and mouse. Meanwhile dualsense has less.

Not sure if this is a bug with xinput, or also applies to the console version of the game? Do Dualsense users in crossplay just have an advantage over xinput?

Another issue is the recoil change seems to be a bit iffy when using mixed inputs, sometimes applying and sometimes not.

  • The game is a console game. The devs couldn't care less about PC KBM players..

controller have OP aim assist and no recoil..

They want the cod kids to play this game..

That isn't even really the issue here. Whether or not controller has different balancing is one thing, its the fact that one type of controller has less recoil, and possibly one platform has less recoil which is a major problem with crossplay.

The idea of sony players just having less recoil because sony is insane, but im not sure if its just an issue on the pc version of the game. Even if its just a PC bug, its a problem if certain controllers are triggering this reduced recoil and others aren't as some people are going to be at a disadvantage due to their peripherals.

Controller recoil is another discussion, this is about the lack of parity between controller types.
