Agreed, the controls in 3 and 4 were intuitive and made sense. It’s literally there ready to go, if not to copy, but at least use as a reference. Tried to give heli’s a go a few times now and it almost always results in a crash because it’s so unresponsive.
You used to get the feeling of actually flying a heli. Controlling your altitude with L1 and R1 just doesn’t feel right and doesn’t allow for any sort of dynamic movement. Sure maybe it’s idiot proof but it’s been dumbed down too much and feels whack.
I figured out custom mapping and turning off heli assist controls mainly fix these problems but flying still feels different. At least this will solve most problems tho
