Is the preferred crossplay feature in BF6 the same as we currently have in BF2042?

As officially confirmed by Alexia Christofi, producer of Battlefield 6, Battlefield 6's cross-play prioritizes consoles and takes input devices into account, directly addressing community complaints about Battlefield 2042.
Unlike BF2042, BF6 takes a much more refined and balanced approach :
- Players now have a real choice → they can enable or disable cross-play directly in the game.
- Matchmaking is input-sensitive, making it fairer between controllers and mouse+keyboards.
- Consoles are prioritized among themselves, avoiding forced mixing with PCs unless necessary.
The goal isn't really to have the exact answer to your question, but rather to confirm the information. Otherwise, no other official information has been posted about Cross-Play. I am also closely following news about this feature.
