It’s your CPU… on BF2042 at CPU level I was getting at 1080p 170ish on GPU Level I was getting 350ish (R7 5800 X)
So I switched my CPU for a 9800x3d and I was getting the full 350 at 1080p
Then I switched to 1440p and well I’m getting around 150 with this set up (6700 xt eagle)
These games are optimized heavily for cpu utilization which is GREAT because you can spend 500 on the best gaming CPU and improve your frames by 50% massively vs spending 4000 bucks on a GPU and improving 25% on frames.
