EDIT: In game overlay was turned off in EA App. Long time ago I disabled it in my old account because I didn't liked it. When I reenabled it in the app the computer got working again. GPU usage 100% again in the menus, it is sad that the first beta session is over so I can't try it out now, but I'm pretty sure that was the problem. Maybe others with fps problems can check this setting in the EA App.
This game is awesome!
But:
Long story short: I had the game running almost unplayable because of low and jittery fps and extreme high input lag in a 9800x3d vs 9070xt rig until I logged out of EA App, then logged in with my sons account, jumped into the game again on the same computer with the same settings, and then input lag fixed, the stuttering gone, fps jumped from jittery 110 fps to flat and absolute playable 180-200 on balanced auto (high to ultra sub)settings. In this account I could get around 250-280 FPS in FHD resolution with low settings if I needed.
Then I jumped back to my own account on the same computer and the nightmare returned. The game is full again with annoying microstutters, I cant hit anyone with sinper rifles because of high input lag (you cant aim, because your screen still turns a little bit after you stopped your mouse movement). Fps sits around 80 to 120 in FHD no matter to the (performance, custom, low, medium, high, ultra settings, yes, I restarted the game several times to let the changes take effect in the testing) graphics settings, cpu sleeps at 5250 MHz around 50 degrees Celsius, utils around 40%, gpu sleeps around 2000 MHz, 120 Watts power and 60 percent utilization. I know there are a lot of people who plays with low fps. I can also play with low fps when the game is smooth, but not in this case. There is no smoothness, the game stutters and jitters heavily. When I log in again my sons account, everything runs fine, all CPU cores runs again at max frequency at 70 degrees Celsius, GPU clock is at 3100- 3200 MHz, utilization 100%, GPU power tops out at 280 to 304 Watts, temps are at normal operating range.
Until I suddenly changed accounts and find this solution what is not really a real solution, I've tried everything I could:
-rolled back drivers with DDU, with latest chipset drivers at the end
-enabled, then disabled Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling
-updated windows to the latest version
-updated MSI Afterburner to the latest version to see what is happening (which is useless to me in this case, it speeches for itself: the rig is sleeping, no fans spinning up, no heat is leaving the pc case, components do nothing, you can't feel the game)
-check all of the settings in the menu if they are the same in the same account (they were the same because they are stored locally)
-manually deleted PROFSAVE_profile and PROFSAVE files and then repaired the game with that function in EA App, and manually changed all the settings in the game's menu
-I created the user.cfg about the thread counts that fixed BF2042 for me a few years before
I'm really sorry that I can't play the game the way I want on my own account, because this game is unbelievably good. I didn't felt this with a battlefield game since Battlefield 3. I feel like I never left BF3 when I'm using the M4 carbine. Imagine that, that was twelve **bleep** years ago.
If somebody at the devs reading this, please help, maybe it's a common problem. Some hidden console commands outside of the game menu and PROFSAVE_profile kills CPU and/or GPU utilization.
Machine Specs: Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite, 9800x3d with Arctic liquid freezer 280, 32GB Corsair Vengeance DDR5 6000 Cl30, game on separate SSD than OS, XFX Quicksilver Magnetic 9070xt at PCIE 5.0 x 16 speed, Windows 11 pro, HAGS ON-OFF, doesn't matter this time, Audiquest Dragonfly DAC, Zowie XL2466x+ at 400 Hz, latest AMD drivers for Battlefield 6 (then rolled back for 25.6.3. because its better for CS2; both drivers are fine for this game, I didnt noticed malfunctions at all. In the other account BF6 runs super smooth and high fps on full hd balanced auto settings on the very same machine)
I'm on a very mid rig with an RTX 4060 Ti OC EVO, Ryzen 7 5700X3D (a processor with a lot of cached memory, supposedly very good for this game) and only 16 GB RAM 3200, and unless I used graphics preset: performance and auto, I would never break 60 FPS, still had massive lag spikes. GPU working 96+% CPU 25%. EA Overlay On or Off made no difference. None of the components were overheating, neither GPU or CPU breached 60 degrees (air cooled).
What puzzles me is that when searching YouTube people with same rigs (just a bit more RAM in most cases but same Mhz) would easily get over 60 FPS on Ultra settings. Very confusing especially reading this thread where people with better setups would still barely surpass my own experience. Hoping the next open beta weekend will be better, but in my case I doubt it because I'm cursed when it comes to tech stuff 😃

You should have around 110 fps in FHD performance medium preset with that rig. Something is draining your fps.

Problem is that I have absolutely no clue what it may be. Some guy on YouTube suggested that perhaps some component isnt drawing enough power to give the best performance, so might look for that next weekend and see how the power draw is in game. However, the Nvidia energy settings are already on performance and PC power-plan on performance as well. This rig uses 461 watts according to pcpartspicker. Times 1.3 (to be within the +30% range) and you get 599. My power supply is 650 watts, so I should be well within the range of having enough power in the machine to support the different components.
What really confused me was how low the temps were. Not breaking 60 degrees was very odd, seeing how much the PC struggled suggesting it was pushed to it's limits 😆- CPU_UK12 days agoSeasoned Ace
In-game: If you do a ctrl-alt-del and look at the performance figures tab you'll see either CPU or GFX under utilised for some inexplicable reason, this is why temp is lowish.

Maybe your GPU has only 8 GB of vram and you trying to play in 4K with this game, or you can check PCIE mode, if it runs in 3.0 at 8x or 4x times and an SSD cuts half it because it is sharing bandwith with your CPU or GPU that can cause low FPS too. Run MSI Afterburner with rivatuner latest version and you will see what is happening under the hood.

It does only have 8 GB, but people are playing with this GPU at 1080p with Ultra settings no problems (referencing multiple videos on YouTube). And even with PCIE 3.0 there should only be a slight decrease in performance, meaning playing the game at medium or high settings should work, but both suck. Unless I absolutely tank the settings, I dont break 60 FPS. Havent tried the game during this new beta weekend, but I doubt the result will have changed. If it has I'll post it. Also, thanks for the replies and taking the time. Appreciate it, tekercs! 😊 Edit: read that RAM will be more strained if you're on a 3.0 PCIE and I only got 16, so I will invest in 32 GB RAM when I can and monitor the difference once I have that.

Just tired the new beta weekend, and I went from 40 FPS t over 110 at high settings. The lag spikes still hurt like hell, and make the game less fluent, but now my CPU is working at around 55% instead of 25 and the frames are higher. EA Overlay on, or I get 17 FPS. It's improving, but still gotta try getting more RAM.
Edit: second game I reached only 55 FPS. Went down 50 FPS from over 110.
Edit II: Still suffering poor FPS. Better than the launch but still around stable 40 FPS, and with big lag spikes.
Edit III: Game is now back to how it was during the first beta weekend. I have to use preset performance to breach 60 FPS in game.
Dont ask me how I went from 117 to struggling with 60 FPS. I can't make sense of it. (During 40 minutes of playing second beta weekend.)
