Nerf Defib speed

The Defibrillator is really broken regarding revives, I've watched multiple times as a lucky medic can sprint into an area we've already cleared and quickly bring everyone back negating all the resources put into taking them out.

In Battlefield 4, regarded as one of the faster games comparable to BF6 movement the Defib works like this:
  • Slightly charge up the paddles before use
  • Holding the charge button for 2 seconds restores full health
  • Walk up to the downed teammate and release. They can accept or decline a revive and are forced to get out of prone to accept
  • A minimum charge only restores 20% HP
  • Your defib has a max of 3 charges before you must wait to recharge
  • You can only walk and crouch while charging, jumping or going prone causes the charge to release
  • Tier 3 of 4 in the Combat Medic field upgrade decreases full charge time to 1 second and requires squad teamwork to achieve increased speed, that's if you choose the field upgrade in the first place
In BF6 its much more different and faster
  • No charge is necessary before use, just click and revive
  • Holding the charge button for 2 seconds restores full health
  • Approach a downed teammate and click with the defibrillator
  • Unless you miss because the hitbox is wonky they are instantly alive, prone and at 50% HP
  • You have infinite charges with no cooldown.
  • You can sprint, walk, jump, prone and freely use BF6 movement mechanics to dodge incoming damage, while charging for full HP
  • Your signature trait involves faster revives and is active at all times, all support players make use of it when they spawn in. (or that just affects dragging and makes defib revives even more busted)
  • In your field upgrade is a trait that begins HP regen upon reviving downed players, further increasing your survivability if you defib spam.
Proposed changes:
  • Move the quick revive trait to the combat medic field spec and swap it out with something else, maybe defense focused?
  • Give the defibrillator charges that must go on cooldown. Maybe make the defib something that has to recharge like a gadget and can store charges when next to a supply bag.
  • Increase the time required to charge or decrease the minimum HP given upon revival. Something that can make sense is making defib a 20% instant revive while dragging keeps 50% because of the stim shot and extra time investment.
  • Limit movement while charging to walking or crouching like in BF4.

Regardless of any possible changes I think the dragging mechanic is fine as is and warrants no nerfs, the problem is the defib. And its a big one that quickly erases a players effort.
