i bet you never played with a controller... a controller is a handicap compared to mouse and keyboard.... the "aim assist" doesnt go for the head.
It just slows your aiming down and let you stay a bit on target.
it does nothing else. i reduced the aim assist to make it playable becuse its just anoying if you get pulled to an enemy and instantly slow down and if you leave the aim assist box you will overshoot because the input gets fast again...
you complain as if a ferrary driver would complain about a dacia who overtake you becaus you where parking somewhere
There is one problem: Battlefield is not CoD, which is all about face-to-face combat.
Here, positioning matters, blending into the background, remaining unnoticed, just like on a battlefield, but these things are dead since cross-play was introduced, because the console world worked differently.
The existence of auto-aim helps console players shoot anyone at all, but on the other hand, all the variation in the game has disappeared, you can no longer sneak behind enemy lines, lie in the bushes, etc., because auto-aim detects people that the human eye cannot see.
This has taken all the fun out of playing BF2048 for me, when someone can see you all the time, even when they shouldn't be able to.

Except everyone can see you instantly and laser beam you with a sniper or full auto fire from any distance in one hit registration.
