To be fair, chain jumping has always been in BF. I personally think that sliding should be removed or perhaps be changed to "slide to cover" where the player can quickly hide behind a nearby cover or something.
I do think that they are trying to attract CoD players. The menu sound effects, round intro animation, menu design are eerily similar to that of CoD. I realize they gotta do what they gotta do to make the game a commercial success and for that they need a lot of players. I get that. I just hope they don't let CoD influence gameplay mechanics. I can ignore the rest of the gimmicks 😄
