I agree with you in regards to the distances in the beta being relatively short compared to 2042. The longest kill shot I was able to make during the beta was 340m due to the smaller scale maps (compared to over 1000m in 2042.) However, when the full game releases - I hope there will be much larger maps. 

I wasn't aware that auto zeroing scopes were real actually (that's pretty cool!)
