Thanks for the detailed update, AC and the SPEAR team.
It’s great to see some hard numbers on how Javelin and Secure Boot are helping keep things fair during the Battlefield 6 Open Beta. Blocking 330,000 cheat/tamper attempts in just the early access period and processing over 100,000 player reports within two days is pretty impressive. It’s also good to hear that these reports are directly feeding into better detection techniques and that confirmed cheaters are being removed quickly.
I get that Secure Boot isn’t a cure-all, but it’s clear how it adds another important layer—especially by preventing vulnerable drivers from being loaded, which can be a major vector for cheats.
I appreciate the transparency here. Anti-cheat is definitely a never-ending challenge, and it’s good to see EA actively adapting. I’ll keep using the in-game reporting tool whenever I see anything suspicious—hopefully, this combined player-developer effort keeps the Battlefield as fair as possible for everyone.
Keep up the fight!
