EA Anticheat TeamThis is the most tone deaf statement I've ever read, although not surprising given the company we are talking about. EA has been one of the worst gaming companies in the world for a long time now, because they have no integrity or creativity. Forcing players to modify their BIOS to play your copy pasted game is asinine, it's literally BF4 with a few more bells and whistles...Instead of leading the way in FPS games, the DEVS decided to be tyrants and tell you how to build and run YOUR PC that you paid for....is EA going to buy me a PC? When EA pays for my PC and the electricity and internet bill i use to play on it, then they can tell me to change my BIOS...Until then BF6 can go die in a dark hole with EA. Take others suggestions about cloud gaming if you're actually worried about cheating cause at the moment the whole world is just laughing at you EA.
Remember people, you owe the DEVS nothing, don't let them strong arm you into their tyrannical rules. First its BIOS, then its admin access to whole PC, then its access to cameras....when does it stop? You will never stop cheating this way, please stop acting stupid and pay attention EA.
I would be also fair to say the devs don't owe players anything either. Having a feedback from players is important, but that doesn't mean developers are obligated to do everything the players say. There is (or more precisely will be) a product for some price. Do you like it and it's worth your money? That's great, buy it. You don't like it? That's alright, too, don't buy it and vote with your wallet.
