I'm going to remain cautious on BF6. A LOT of hype going on, but we'll see what comes on Oct. 10th. Personally I feel the game is a little longer out from that early release date.
I know this is just a Beta, but so far it really does feel slightly more COD than BF which concerns me. Conquest almost feels like deathmatch to me, there doesn't seem to be that push pull struggle for a flag like some previous BF games.
Current maps in the Beta are a little small for my tastes, I hope larger ones are coming. BF was always about having to use a vehicle if you wanted to traverse from one side of the map to the other, that's BF. I hope the emphasis isn't on ground pounding only, that's not what I want from a BF at all. Compare Monte Grappe from BF1 to Liberation Peak in BF6, there's just NO comparison, Grappe is far superior in scale and atmosphere, and feels like Battlefield. So I have many concerns for the direction of BF6, crossing my fingers.
Tone down health regen. Vehicles, air & ground could use some tweaking for feel. Gun recoil is a little too much, real guns are not quite that bad. I guy I know was in the military and he even said the recoil on the guns in BF6 are too much, and not realistic. If they could just slow the pace just a smidge, I'm not saying Arma 3 here, just not so much running around in circles spastically shooting, more like previous BF's. Yes, I was and still am a Huge fan of BF4, I'd really like BF6 to be BF4 2.0 but we know that will never happen. One can dream.
