Why I think current 2042 is better than BF6
- BF6 is far more single player oriented than 2042, far more
- You are far less reliant on "others", "squad members" and "allies" to perform and complete objectives. its a solo game with other people
- The maps are so so so so small. the BF this reminds me and many others the most of is Hardline CQB. The cops and robbers one, which most also consider the worst BF game in history
there are no resource call downs, no squad or platoon lock down points - there is very very very little strategy needed to win. all you need is move at pace, complete an objective and move as fast as possible to the next one and repeat over and over and over again. it's monotonous and super simple. - all vehicles are unnecessary and dont fit within the design of the maps
- the support class has ALL the support functions built into it - again, in an effort to make a less complex, simple, arcade like game.
- BF6 is more like a co-op DOOM game than a BF game.
- whatever it is, it's the farthest away from a traditional BF game since Hardline. of that there is no debate
2042 got a lot of flak, but that game is in a really awesome space at the moment and BF6 is a huge departure from what seems to be working...and BF6 feels more close in, CQB, and less strategic. I dont like it.
