A possible cause (or exasperating aspect) of the fast TTD

I've noticed that my FPS will go from a consistent 60+ to under 10 sometimes when being hit. At first I thought there was some sort of recoil effect from being hit because my guns would sometimes have no sound or not shoot correctly when I was getting hit, but eventually I noticed the stutter was actually an FPS drop.

But its not consistent, sometimes it happens other times it doesn't. And I think that it may play a role in the wierd inconsistent TTD that seems much faster than the TTK.

The longer you play the worse it seems to get as well. To the point where eventually the drop in frame rate sticks around after the last hit for a second (which is how I eventually realized what was happening).
