Preach brother. This was moronic in 2042 that we couldn't really get more than 4 people in a match, and it's moronic in this game. Supposedly they've said there will be a solution to this in portal when the full game releases, but I think most people would like this to be possible in regular matchmaking as well. Also portal was a crapfest in 2042 so I don't hold out a lot of hope that it will truly be a satisfactory solution in this new game. I really wish there were persistent servers in regular matchmaking so more friends could join and we stay in the same server and go through a proper map rotation.
Agreed with everything you said. Persitence server and map rotation is the way to go. If they can do it for FC25 where you can have 11 friends in the same game, they can do it for Battlefield. We don't need to be in the same squad, just in the same game.
