Well speaking for the fact that I got banned on specifically the beta, but not any other EA game like Apex (which i've played till death) something is clearly wrong with their anti chat. I don't know what everyone else is running while playing the game, but in my case I am always running Logitech G Hub in the background, which is the application that came with my mouse to change the additional buttons on it. But for me, I use it to disable the stupid DPI button thats smack in the middle of L & R mouse click that always gets pressed mid game (which changes the dpi = changes sensitivity, its always at the worst times too.) The stupidest part about it is it only disables it if their dumb application is open. Needless to say the application has been fine and I haven't had any issues up until the day the open beta started (I played for the first two early days with no problem.) Reading other peoples post I guess potentially opening an application like that mid game will trigger the anti cheat which is stupid as can be. You'd think they would have applications like that white listed? Anyways, I just started the game on the second day and forgot to open logitech g hub to disable my dpi button, and then played the rest of the day until superrrrrrrrrr late. And then the next day after work when I tried getting on I received that "authentication error" message. I already contacted support for this since they finally fixed their support system today. Can't seem them not reinstating my account because its pretty clear I am not cheating lol, I've been on this same account since 2014. Hopefully they can fix this problem for everyone who is encountering this problem! Its pretty **bleep** frustrating when your account gets flagged for something you shouldnt be. So if you do have Logitech G hub, dont open it mid game if its not already running so it doesnt trigger a flag! Just hop they can resolve this before the start of the second weekend!
I use a Razer mouse and have its application open and didn’t get banned… I’d find it more likely the anti cheat discovered a cheater that has gotten away with it for many years and now are upset they are finally caught!
You do realize this is a beta correct? Meaning there are going to be bugs and problems with the game? Especially with their new anti cheat. So either you're rage baiting, or you're just straight **bleep**. Based on other posts you've made recently I'm going to assume that you have the IQ of a goldfish. I pray to God this happens to you on the opening day of the second beta ☠️ "it didn't happen to me so therefore it doesn't exist." Superb reasoning skills you ape!
