I have reviewed call outgoing and incoming connections when launching the game; nothing is being blocked, so technically game is free to connect to EA servers, This must be AUTH issue with linking

I actually managed to fix it. In Windows Defender, I copied the inbound rules that were automatically created for Battlefield 6 Open Beta by the EA App (Origin). They were for the anti-cheat - specifically for this exe:
"EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.exe" in steam game folder
I added separate rules for both TCP and UDP, and surprisingly... it worked! Or maybe they just fixed it :? - MrMoeYz21 hours agoNewcomer
launching the game through steam no prompt for network allowances or anything just consitanty pops up with a error and a QR code that leads no where. works fine when downloaded and launched from EA. anyone else?

Hi!
Can you give step by step guide about this? Thanks! hello!
Yes, unfortunately, the error remains, and it throws it through QR to a non-working site.Hello everyone
I'm glad we made this message thread, because I ran into the same problem of not being able to connect to EA servers.
Wait for a fix?- TacticalMishapp21 hours agoSeasoned Novice
I had the same popup while in the shooting range and got put back in the 280k que. Played one round though and it was cool.

Here’s the full list of things I tried (kind of annoying to describe because every time I try to paste a path or paste youtube url, the forum throws a "invalid HTML tag" error):
- Verified the beta files on Steam:
Right-click game -> Properties -> Installed Files -> Verify integrity of game files - DNS flush – followed this YouTube guide:
Title: Fix "Unable to connect" Battlefield 2042 Error | Complete Guide (from 2:00 to 2:32) - Added inbound rules in Windows Firewall:
Windows Defender Firewall -> Advanced Settings -> Inbound Rules -> New Rule- First rule:
Custom rule
Program path pointing to:
path to EAAntiCheat GameServiceLauncher inside your steam stamapps common Glacier Events folder
Protocol: TCP
Leave scope as default (all)
Action: Allow the connection
Profile: Public only
Name: Battlefield 6 Beta - Second rule:
Custom rule
Program path pointing to:
path to EAAntiCheat GameServiceLauncher inside your stamapps common Glacier Events folder
Protocol: UDP
Leave scope as default (all)
Action: Allow the connection
Profile: Public only
Name: Battlefield 6 Beta
- First rule:
- Restarted my PC
If it works for anyone else too, please confirm - would be good to know if it’s a reliable fix.
