My GPU also died yesterday... I thought at first it shut down because I wasn't at my desk for some hours and the game was just in the menu. But after i looked I saw its still on. It wouldn't even shutdown with the power button. I tried a different bios (Silent/xGameing) but this didn't do any difference. Mainboard error code for GPU. I then took it out of the case nothing visibley damaged put it back in but still nothing no video output and PC not booting up.

Now I can't play anything and I can't afford a new GPU at the moment...
