Hi EA,
I was preparing my keybinds before the beta. My usual setup for any first person shooter is to bind push to talk to the forward button on mouse (Mouse 5) and quick melee to the back button (Mouse 4). However the keybind labelling is different in the beta client.
Typical Convention:
Left Click - Mouse 1
Right Click - Mouse 2
Scroll Click (MMB) - Mouse 3
Back Button - Mouse 4
Forward Button - Mouse 5
In Game Client:
Left Click - Left Mouse Button Icon
Right Click - Right Mouse Button Icon
Scroll Click (MMB) - Mouse Scroll Icon
Back Button - Mouse 3
Forward - Mouse 4
????? - Mouse 5 (There are default keybind for mouse 5 "Infantry - Gadget One" , but am not sure if its means the forward button or something else.
Scroll Up and Down and Mouse panning are good, horizontal scrolling looks to only map to a single keybind.
The mouse i am using is the Logitech G502 X.
P.S. Another small nitpick is the pressing ESC to go back to settings from a submenu always go back the the top Accessibility Category rather than the parent category (pressing the back button the top left, does it correctly). To clarify, pressing ESC when editing Mouse and Keyboard keybinds should go back to the Mouse and Keyboard Settings, not the Accessibility Settings (the back arrow does this correctly.
I missed out on early access and Australia is not eligible for BF Labs, but looking forward to play the open beta this weekend.
