BF 6 Steam Overlay error.

Whenever i start the beta it gives me an error saying that i do not have the steam overlay on but i have never turned it off,  i have tried turning it off restarting steam then turning it on and restarting steam,  i have tried verifying the files, and i have also tried repairing the EA Anticheat.  so yeah im out of ideas on what is happening with this and how to fix it
