I've done everything to ensure I had secure boot enabled but my issue is that whenever I try running the application through steam and even through the .exe in the game folder nothing happens not even an error popping up after waiting a couple minutes. And its not showing any process happening through task manager.
Is there any fix to this? I wanted to make sure the game can boot before Early Access and Open Beta arrives
SPECS:
CPU: Intel Core i7-9700K 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER 8 GB Video Card
MOTHERBOARD: Asus ROG MAXIMUS XI HERO ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
RAM: G.Skill Trident Z RGB 16 GB DDR4-3600 CL18 Memory
OS: Windows 10 Pro (Build 19045)images attached are the Steam app saying its running while task manager is not showing any process happening (i also scrolled all the way down task manager to see nothing happening as well.)
other attachment shows secure boot enabled. - carsono31121 days agoSeasoned Ace
I would try all the clean / repair options available to you to see if anything helps.
Clean install of latest GPU drivers.
Windows updates, including optionals for drivers
Command Prompt > sfc /scannow
Command Prompt > DISM /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
Check for Steam updates and/or repairs
Run a repair on the game files
Probably more...
I would also check for CPU / SDD response with Task Manager when you try to run the program... if nothing happens, then something is broken somewhere with an executable or Windows or something... - SwellheIl21 days agoNew Novice

Guys for those who downloaded the preload of the new Battlefield beta,
did you also face a problem where the game crashes at this point?
I downloaded both versions (Steam and EA), and it either goes black and crashes or doesn't even show anything and crashes. For reference Secure Boot is enabled. - Head_Vox21 days agoSeasoned Newcomer
Same. No errors, just silently stops loading. Secure boot enabled. All drivers up to date

Do you need to have both EA App and Steam installed and running? Like launch from Steam and EA App connects in the background? Just a thought. Hope you all get it resolved.
