idk what causes it but I notice it and it does feel like **bleep**. Im assuming its the tick rate or the netcode. Damage fall off feels like its part of the problem. most the time im seeing 10 plus hit markers with no kill its cause im shooting at someone 100 yards away. which really shouldn't effect damage like this game make it.
My assumption is that they made the damage fall off horrendous to counteract the smaller sizes of these maps. To make it feel larger than it is by manipulating damage fall off and other things, like not giving us any scopes with a magnification over 6x. Where as in other BF games we got much more magnification in our scopes.
Also is it just me, or does the 6x scope not feel like 6x. To me, the 6x feels more like a 4x. The 5x feels more like a 3x, the acog feels like a 2.5x and so on. These scopes dont feel like they are actually magnifying the image to the advertised zoom level. I have a 6x scope on my personal AR at home. These 6x scopes in the game do not feel like 6x scopes.
It feels like a UE5 thing. Cause look at other games that run on UE5. Stalker 2, they dont give you any good scopes either with any serious magnification and its the first game in the series to not give you binoculars. Why? I think it has something to do with performance and the UE5 engine.
