Bloom Bug caused by sliding

There is a bug where you get insane bloom after sliding or double sliding. Sliding again seems to fix this issue. This might be one of the reasons why bloom feels soo bad in this game.

This can easily be tested / reproduced in the Firing Range.

Added a video of the bug as attachment.

    Hey Achillez1990 ,

Thanks for the clip and the detailed breakdown! To help us dig deeper, could you let us know a few more things?

    • Are you using double-tap to slide, or just a single press?
    • When you slide, do you use crouch hold (CTRL by default) or crouch toggle (C by default)?
    • Can you trigger this bug with any weapon besides the AK-205? If not, could you share which attachments you’re running on it?

The extra info will help us track this down faster. Appreciate you taking the time to report and test!

Hi, I have done some more testing. EA_Leeuw

I bound slide to a mouse button, and tested and reproduced the bug with and without the "Double tap crouch for sprint slide" setting on.
I hold shift to sprint, and use my mouse button to slide.

I am not 100% sure when/how the bug occurs, but it seems to be pretty consistent when I slide and click the mouse button fast more than once, and then the slide animation sometimes is either retriggered or canceled. Like you see in the video the second slide seems to be canceled. After that the bloom is bugged.

I was able to reproduce the bug with multiple weapons. I tested AK-205, NVO and M417.

Happy to help! Hope you figure it out 👍
