Bug / issue with placing recon equipment

I apologize in advance if this issue is already known about, but after looking at the known bug list, I was not able to find it. Playing as recon, sometimes when I deploy a spawn beacon or TUGS, my character enters the animation and finishes the placing motion, yet nothing is actually placed. The piece of equipment is also removed from my inventory, regardless of whether or not I am actually able to place it. I haven't found a specific cause, as I have encountered the issues as I am moving and attempting to place, or even proning and placing completely statically. In other battlefield titles, I seem to remember also encountering this issue, but if the equipment couldn't be placed, it would at least be "refunded" to you, or given back to you so you could attempt to re-place it.
