[BUG REPORT] Severe CPU Frequency Drop to ~1.2GHz

Question

I'm experiencing a serious performance issue while running the Battlefield 6 Open Beta. As soon as I launch the game (even just sitting at the main menu), my CPU frequency drops drastically to around 1.2 GHz, causing massive frame drops and unplayable performance.

Here are the detailed specifications of my system:

Hardware: CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 8945HX

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Laptop (driver version 580.88)

RAM: 32GB DDR5 5200MHz

Software:

Operating System: Windows 11 Pro 24H2

Background Software Running: EA App

I'm having the exact same issues with a decent gaming laptop. It's definitely above min specs but I'm averaging 15 frames on the lowest settings everything turned off, tuned OS, the works. Still at 15 FPS just in the menu, loading into games it does the same thing
