When playing early access on August the 8th through steam on Cairo breakthrough as defender in the sector with one A point and busses around it, the camera randomly dislodged itself from my character and put me in third person. I'm not aware of anything I did to make this happen as I was just shooting a proned enemy at close range with a quicker than usual snap of the wrist.
The vertical mouse axis was inverted and aiming "smoothed out" or of high inertia and the crosshair moved around on the screen with the camera being centered around my direction of travel and the vertical mouse axis was inverted. When I respawned I was back in first person.
Inertia is when objects have weight in case you didn't know. (Please contact me if you would like help with vehicle dynamics.)
Same thing happened to me today, on the same map, on the Xbox. 😅
I got sniped, then ran to my body, then immediately got placed in the third person mode.
same thing happened to me but i think i just jumped over something and it entered me into 3rd person
