Challenge progress isn't counting at all if you leave a match early. Edit: Seems to be a visual bug, even after completing matches sometimes I have to reset my game to see my new progress on challen...

It might potentially be related to the point where the awards server syncs. In past games, that happened when the next match was loading.
I'm more thinking out loud than being sure of anything, though.
