similar crash/error.
My game crashes although its started via the EA Launcher/ EA App
Here's the key information from the log (AI analyzed it for me):
- Error Code: c0000005 (Access Violation)
- Error Type: The log specifies AV.Type: Write, meaning the program tried to write to an invalid memory location.
- Problematic Address: The crash occurred when the program attempted to write to memory address 00000000000030c0. This is a very low memory address, often indicating a null or invalid pointer was used.
- Crashed Module: The crash happened within the module bf6event.exe at an offset of +7015a5.
- Function Name: The symbol name provided is bf6event!ffxFsr2ResourceIsNull+0x7015a5. This suggests the crash is related to a function handling FSR 2.0 (FidelityFX Super Resolution), a technology from AMD used to upscale game visuals.
- Failure Bucket: The FAILURE_BUCKET_ID is INVALID_POINTER_WRITE_c0000005_bf6event.exe!Unknown, which confirms a write operation to an invalid pointer.
In short, the Battlefield 6 Open Beta crashed because it tried to write data to an invalid memory address, most likely due to a bug in the game's code, particularly within the FSR 2.0 implementation. This is a software bug that would need to be addressed by the game developers.
Im not using AMD btw. Im using a Nvidia 4070 TI super
