I have the exact same issue - haven't been able to fix it

Same issue. Unable to open Social/Friends List. Icon shows 0 when EA App shows status correctly.

Plus (+) buttons to build squad after choosing a game mode do nothing.

I installed both EA App and Steam versions of game. Thinking that may have broken something, I uninstalled both and deleted 'Battlefield 6 Open Beta' folder from Documents folder. No Joy.

Same issue on both EA App and Steam. Tried playing in Fullscreen/Borderless, enabling and disabling in-game overlays but nothing will make the 'add friends button' clickable nor the whole social tab on the right side of the screen. Bottom line, can't play with friends at the moment.

This appears to be an EA Server side issue or a very odd local network problem where local network seems unlikely as Social/Friend features work in other EA App/Battlefield Titles.

Battlefield 6 Beta was installed on multiple computers within my home network and they show the same problem. I will create a new EA Account tomorrow when Beta goes open to confirm whether this is an account problem.

My Social/Friends list is now working and this is potentially the second worst result of troubleshooting - not knowing exactly what fixed it. I tried:

    1. New EA Account - Failed
    2. Switched from ethernet on router 2 to wifi on router 1 - Worked
    3. Switched from wifi on router 1 to wifi on router 2 - Worked
    4. Switched from wifi on router 2 back to initial ethernet on router 2 - Worked

I have two routers in network where the first pulls IP from ISP (router 1) and accepts static IP from second router (router 2) where gaming PCs are connected. I can only theorize a few possibilities:

     1. Double NAT prevented some form of initial connection/registration
    2. Changing between network adapters locally reset something with game
    3. EA fixed a server side problem within the last hours where everyone here should have a working list now (Unlikely)

    🤷

This is the only thing that fixed mine as well. Restarted router, unplugged ethernet, connected via wifi, and plugged ethernet cable back in. Back to normal now

Seems like there's something to switching network adapters. If someone were to have 2 ethernet NICs in the same computer, I would hazard a guess and say moving their active connection to alternate NIC would work.
