This is a hardware issue, specifically an issue with your CPU cooler. This is not a game or software-related issue and is not something we can help with here on the forums.

This is an insane response. This game is causing throttling due to near-overheating my CPU cores on my system too--in the MENUS-- and this doesn't happen in any other games (including many CPU-heavy ones, like Star Citizen). Don't tell people it's their own hardware/CPU issue when clearly something is VERY wrong.

WAIT THIS GUY WORKS AT EA? ARE YOU SERIOUS ? jesuis christ dude you know nothing barry. the game is very very heavy cpu intensive. on ANY system especially the 9300x3D the top cpus that even YOU test benches are using wtf do you mean

It is cpu heavy but you will not overheat if your cooler can handle it. I have an i914900k and 4080s and am getting temps of 68 when playing.

I have a 4090 and a full custom water loop. I am reaching temps on my CPU and GPU of nearly 100c. Ive been building pcs for 30 years. My system has never gone above 60c. This IS NOT a hardware issue. There is something seriously wrong with the game.

Such an amazing answer from a CM...
I have a perfect airflow with 3 extract and 3 intakes, a double cpu fan that do a very good job and i'm reaching 100° peeks playing BF6.
I ran some benchmarks, some other games and didn't got any peeks above 85°...
Something is very wrong with the game to reach such high temperatures, and answering "it's your fault" when people give you feeback is crazy stupid.
The game is promising, you guys seem to be listening to your community, don't **bleep** it up on something so goddamn important - H20Croutons19 days agoNew Novice
That's a wild statement when that is generally not the issue. I have a Noctua NH-D15 cpu cooler, two radiators and 2 180mm fans and i still have thermal throttling problems only with your beta. And lets me honest, every battlefield game when it comes i always has **bleep** poor performance for CPU's always has and its cool to see that that wont change from your company.

EA_Barry is correct. This is a CPU cooling issue. Battlefield's Frostbite game engine uses SIMD (Single instruction, multiple data) CPU instruction set extentions, specifically AVX2 (Advanced Vector Extensions 2).
These instructions cause a CPU to heat up quite a bit. Some motherboards have an AVX Offset setting which automatically downclocks the CPU during AVX calculations to reduce CPU temperatures.
Regardless, if the CPU is overheating it's due to the CPU cooler not being able to keep up.
