Lack of air and ground vehicle development
The new Battlefield 6 really falls short when it comes to vehicle design and control, especially compared to what players enjoyed in Battlefield 4.
Flying any aircraft feels unnecessarily hard to control, not because the system is complex, but because the responsiveness and handling are poorly tuned. Jets and helicopters feel heavy, sluggish, and unbalanced, making it frustrating for even experienced pilots to stay in the air or pull off maneuvers that used to feel natural in past games.
Instead of being a rewarding skill, flying often feels like fighting against the controls themselves.
On top of that, the game doesn’t offer enough large, open maps that truly showcase vehicles in their full potential.
Tanks, planes, and helicopters often feel crammed into spaces that don’t support large-scale vehicle warfare, which takes away the epic sense of scale that Battlefield is known for.
The lack of refinement in vehicle mechanics, combined with the shortage of proper vehicle-focused maps, makes Battlefield 6 feel like it’s missing the heart of what made the series stand out.
