Low CPU usage in BF 6

Regardless of the graphics settings, my FPS is limited by the CPU value, my CPU is Ryzen 7 7700X, which can handle this game without problems. But the CPU load in the game does not exceed 50%, that is, the game does not use it to its full extent. As you can see from the statistics, my video card RTX 3070Ti is capable of delivering adequate FPS, but because the game does not use the processor, I am forced to play with constant drops to 40 - 50.

  • For those who have problems with low FPS on a fairly powerful hardware. Turn on the display of telemetry in the game and pay attention to the CPU and GPU in the upper right corner. You will probably see that your video card can produce 300+ FPS, but the processor somehow does 40-80 FPS or something like that, while sometimes the processor load does not reach even half. I found one interesting pattern. If you are playing through the EA App, if you have the "game overlay" turned on, try to turn it off, if turned off, then on the contrary, try to turn it on. I don't know why, but it raises my CPU FPS from 80 to 180.

    MY PC
    CPU: Ryzen 7 7700
    GPU: RTX 5070 TI
    RAM: DDR5 32GB 6000

The load on the processor does not change, it remains at 50-70%, but the FPS increases noticeably. The graphics settings do not change the situation at all. Ultra graphics settings 2k, and minimum 720p increase the FPS by a maximum of 10. It turns out that the problem is either in the EA App, or in the game's use of the processor

Same. I have a ryzen 5800x and 5070ti oc. My cpu utilization never went above 80% where as on 2042 its pegged at 100%. My gpu is basically idle lol. Something is up with bf6 optimization on AMD cpu's. I've noticed a commonality between reddit and ea forums with people having the same issue. Even my tech wizard buddy was stumped looking at my hwmonitor.

  • I FOUND THE SOLUTION FOR MY RTX 3080! I saw someone commenting that they had seen on GPU Z that their card was running at x1 instead of 16x, so I checked and my video card was the same! To summarize, I removed the video card from the PC, cleaned the PCI Express with isopropyl alcohol, and it worked. Now it is running at x16 and 120 fps on ultra, whereas before it was running at 30/40 fps.

  • I have same problem on RTX3080 16gb and Ryzen 9 5900HX. As soon as I log into the game, I have 120+- fps, and even on the shooting range it remains within 100-80. But as soon as I get into the match, there are drawdowns up to 50-40 and by the end of the match I have to finish playing at 20 fps =(
Different graphics settings also have no effect.
