Major accessibility issue: Motion sickness from head bobbing

Hi, been playing all Battlefields since 1942, and I've thoroughly enjoyed most. Unfortunately it seems that Battlefield 6 has a major problem with its accessibility, as the camera movements are extreme and bound to the head movements, causing physical nausea while playing the game. This has never been an issue with any of the previous Battlefield titles that I've played.

At the current state we are unable to set head bobbing to none, which has been an option in the previous titles that had head bobbing; it is not merely enough to tone it down, as even the smallest head bobbing movement causes nausea. Adding to the involuntary camera movements that cause extreme nausea in some players—me included.

I sincerely hope that these issues are fixed with a stable camera in the full release. As it is now, the game is unfortunately unplayable for me, as it causes physical discomfort to play the game.

tl;dr:

Problem: Major nausea caused by involuntary camera movements, such as head bobbing and animations related to dying; unable to play the game.

Solution: Allow users to set head bobbing to complete zero, as it has been possible in all previous titles. (even little involuntary camera movement causes nausea; this setting should be changeable to literal zero)

  • While I dont personally have this issue I totally understand the grievance behind it, I do hope they add accessibility features like this into the game

Adding to this, the dying/waiting for medic animations cause nausea as well. Players should be able to turn these involuntary camera movements completely off.

The option has been there for all the recent titles, and was non-existent for older titles that had no head bob – I simply don't understand why the setting does not exist in Battlefield 6. It has been available in all previous betas as well!

I’m also having trouble with the motion sickness. And like many others, never an issue with bf and cod titles in the past 20 years! God this game makes me feel terrible. Yet it’s shaping up to be one of the best bf’s we’ve had in years.

  • Another issue game freezes on xbox series x and shuts down it even  totally shutdown my xbox 😒

    Shamelessy bumping this accessibility issue.

This is a matter of playability; if this issue is not fixed, us with weak tolerances for involuntary camera movements will just not be able to play the game, unfortunately.

I'm urging you to fix the issue with simple options of removing head bobbing completely and allowing the user to turn off the head-bound animations with the current death/medic system.

    Thank you.

I am once again asking for you to fix this issue in the final release of the game. I even tried adjusting the config files to set the value from 0.2 to 0.0, but this did not solve the issue (except from moving the adjustment bar to out of bounds in the GUI of the game).

Unfortunately, if this is not fixed, the game is unplayable to me due to the physical nausea it causes.
