Mouse cursor misaligned in Steam overlay (BF6 only)

When opening the Steam overlay the mouse cursor is not aligned with what the overlay thinks it is hovering/clicking.  Its a few hundred pixels off to the right and downwards.

This only happens in Battlefield 6, tested a number of other games and they do not have similar issues.  This also only happens when my desktop scale is set to 125% (4k resolution).  Reducing desktop scale to 100% in windows eliminates the problem.
