Hey everyone,
I’ve been struggling with the same issue many of you reported — smooth on controller but choppy/stuttery on mouse, even with high FPS.
After testing dozens of settings, I found a combination that basically eliminates the stutter without lowering polling rate or switching input.
The Fix
- turn Vsync on in nvidia control panel
Turn on DLDSR 1.78× in NVIDIA Control Panel.
NVIDIA Control Panel → Manage 3D Settings → DSR Factors → check 1.78×.
- In game, set resolution to the new DLDSR resolution.
-Turn on DLSS – Balanced in-game.
-Turn framegen on.
Optional: If you want to skip DLDSR, you can use in-game Resolution Scale = 133% (same pixel density as 1.78× DLDSR)
Note : the point is to make the game more gpu bounded so you change dldsr to whatever you want and dlss to whatever you want, i found the sweet spot at 1.78 dldsr and balanced dlss.
This almost fixed the issue for me until dice fixes it completely.
Turning on framegen is not a "solution" :P I dont want to have a input latency...
