PC Shuts Off

Hello, when playing the game anywhere from 1-any amount if time, or just when opening the game, or once getting to the menu my pc will randomly turn off and restart. I dont get an error message, nor a BSOD. I get nothing and the computer shuts off and just restarts. I dont get a dump file nor is there anything in event viewer other than an unexpected shutdown. Other games work fine. Sometimes when the pc restarts ill see the cpu Sim go red (on your performance viewer) Specs are i9 14900ks, 5090FE, 64gb DDR 5 6400mhz anyone got a fix??? Secure boot is on etc. Playing via steam i cant seem to fix the problem EA hasn't said anything about this being a known error despite reading alot of people having the same issue.

Me too, i can play a minute or few or it happens just after loading the map in the deploy screen. First the sound quality goes terrible and then the game freezes with a buzzing sound, then the pc restarts.

Just had it happen to me as well - I got a popover message overlayed on the game, not a BSOD, but saying there's an error and the device needs to restart (game not frozen during this) then - bop pc restarts

  • What PSU guys do you using? Looks your PSU reach limits on some rails... I'm thinking.

I've lowered my monitor Hz from 240Hz to 60Hz and locked ingame FPS to 60 and it worked yesterday for an hour or two with 0 crashes. Today in the morning with the same settings the pc restarted.

  • Just wanted to update i unplugged some stuff thats running off the same house circuit as my pc and ive had 0 crashes. Idk if the game causes a power surge to the psu creating some sort of power sag within the house circuit crashing the pc. Sounds weird but I havnt been crashing worth a look.
