Potential explanation for Splash Screen / Black screen / game start faliure
If you are like me and tried every possible fix for this issue, this might help (not to fix, but at least explain)
After some investigating, I found out that my CPU/Motherboard is incapable of meeting the anticheat's hardware standards.
To quote ms copilot:
"Your system still reports “Attestation Not Supported”, which means:
- The AMD fTPM firmware on your board does not expose attestation capabilities
- EA Javelin AntiCheat requires attestation for kernel trust validation
- Battlefield 6 crashes silently or throws EAAC errors because it can’t verify your system’s integrity
This is a known limitation on many Ryzen 5000 + B550 setups."
(for reference, I have a Ryzen 5800X and a B550M PRO-VDH WIFI (MS-7C95))
to check this, go to windows security, click device security, under Security Processor, click security processor details.
if it says "Attestation: Not ready, Storage: Ready" then your processor might not be able to meet EAAC's security standards.
It took me around 6 and a half hours of trying everything to figure this out, just to find out that my hardware literally cannot run the game, even though it's not even really that old and it isn't broken.
Hopefully EA might pull back a little bit on their anticheat requirements if enough people have this issue ??? otherwise I will not be buying hardware to meet requirements for 1 single game that I will have to pay for anyways. What a waste of my time, and probably a lot of your time as well.
