Re: Intel Arc GPU Crash: Unable to Load Matches in BF6 Beta

Whenever I try to get into a game(I have tried all gamemode and none except the shooting range work) BF6 crashes. ( see Video)
The same thing also happenes when I try to click any icon on the righthand side of the game(friends, inbox etc.)

I have already tried launching the game and anticheat as admin, repairing my game files, updating/reinstalling my graphics card driver, lowering my resolution to 1080p and 1440p the result is always the same. Secure boot is turned on.

I have a Ryzen 7 5700x3d ,rx 6800 with 32 gb of ram.

I was really excited to play and would be very thankful for any tips.

Yeah I'm getting a total system freeze with no error message, but event viewer claims it's a blue screen. I can load Firing Range fine, but any game mode I select it'll begin to load a map and then freeze, music dies and everything is locked. Got Secure Boot/TPM setup. Updated to latest graphics drivers as of this morning. Ryzen 7 3800, Intel Arc A750, 32g RAM. It's installed on a NVME drive, and I have all the required things turned on like HVCI/VBS etc. So not sure what to do.

Same problem here as well. Can only play in the shooting range, when trying to load an actual match, complete computer freeze requiring hard reset of pc.

Troubleshooting steps (attempted with steam app version and EA app version):

-Full removal of video drivers and then fresh install of intel Graphics Driver 32.0.101.6987.

-Run game as administrator along with anti cheat

-Updated the Battlefield 6 exe launcher with exploit protection settings manually set to off

-Adjusted sync settings to different options

    -Steam verify integrity of files.

    Specs:

OS Name    Microsoft Windows 11 Home

    Processor    AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 8-Core Processor, 4201 Mhz, 8 Core(s), 16 Logical Processor(s)

GPU    Intel Arc A770 (Sparkle Titan OC 16GB GDDR6)

System Model    B650I AORUS ULTRA (Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd)

Hopefully this gets resolved before the beta ends.

    Had the same issue.
In my case what Fixed it (at least for now):

I deleted my settings in the Document Folder (windows: C:\Users\"your name"\Dokumente\Battlefield 6 Open Beta)
Restarted the game and as long as i dont change the Texture quality and some other graphic settings etc. it didnt crash for me anymore.

If you are going to test it. First try to run the game without changing any Settings (after deleteing the folder or renaming it)....

    good luck!

Had the same problem on steam. Downloaded it again on EA app - works fine here. Probably not the steam problem, but still helps to play on another platform.

Ok so ive had the same problem as you and tried everything, setting app security options helped for a bit but what fixed it for me is just putting everything on low. It seems a graphics option causes the crash, Ice yet to find out what specific one it is but ill be sure to update
