Addendum to this comment:
The official minimum requirements for memory in this game is "16GB (Dual channel 2133mhz)." Keywords: "dual channel."
If you're running in single-channel (which is very roughly a 2x memory speed decrease) then, even with 3200mhz memory, you're below minimum requirements and technical issues are to be expected. Low memory speed resulting in a major network-adjacent problem of all things is really weird (I'd personally only expect low FPS, but oh well), but that's the type of thing you risk.
I'm running on DDR4 and don't have a DDR5 system, but I theorize that this issue is non-existent on DDR5 just because DDR5 is roughly 2x faster than DDR4 and thus "single-channel DDR5" is roughly equal to "dual-channel DDR4."
Also, check your CPU specs page to make sure it actually supports dual-channel memory. Some CPUs (like Intel N-Series apparently) only support single-channel memory, and if you're using DDR4 with them you're kinda screwed. I'm 99% sure any CPU designed for gaming will support dual-channel memory (quad-channel is a thing, but most gaming CPUs don't support it for some reason, not even modern high-end ones like the 9950X3D).
