Solution To High Spike Fps Drop Bf6 Menu on PC

Thanks bro, I was going crazy trying to find the solution.

i can confirm experiencing this issue on an amd system when EA app's option "in-game overlay" is turned off. cpu is lagging / restrained for 2 seconds reocurring in ~3 seconds intervals as shown in the graph

Big thanks to finding this 👍 I got same problem and game was unplayable. EA app in-game overlay would never crossed my mind. I was thinking it must be some app I running at background or even hardware but this OMG!

We're still seeing reports of this issue. To help our teams investigate, please provide us with the following information:

• The version of the EA app you are running. You can find the version by opening the app, clicking the menu icon (three horizontal lines at the top left corner), and selecting About.
• What language is your EA app client set to?
• Did you run into this issue at the start of the Beta, or only at a later time? 

In the meantime, as other players have confirmed in the thread, the performance issues should stop after activating the EA app overlay.

• What language is your EA app client set to? italian
• Did you run into this issue at the start of the Beta, or only at a later time?  all time launch bf6 open beta, game and menu.
