Whenever I try to get into the menu and whatever else is available I get this Connection Failed error. Only happens with the beta, 2042 and V work just fine. Anyone else getting this? kinda getting worried that I will not be able to play the beta at all. Thanks

Yes, but this only happens on Steam for some reason. I downloaded the beta on the EA client and it works just fine.
Very much doubt that it has to do with maitenance, I am running into it since yesterday morning, whilst EA version works without a hitch
Something is now allowing Steam version to connect, I have seen a similar issue on Steam forums without resolution. seems like a wierd edge case
Idk then, But for me it's the same as for you, works on EA and doesn't on Steam.
Permission werent set, but error still is presisits after setting them up in windows defender and firewall. I've tried with custom DNS settings using cloudflare 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8 with no joy either
Currently downloading through EA aswell, will see if that works
I've redownloaded the beta via EA App and that works, curiously Steam version did not ask for persmissions when launching like EA version did; Might need to grant them manually and see, will test this later
Maybe they took it down temporarily for an update? I would try again tomorrow and see…
No, hopefully it will somehow fix itself by the time the beta starts or someone finds a solution. Also it seems like not a lot of people are having the same issue as us so it's not getting a lot of traction...
Any luck? I am having the same issue, updated drivers didnt helped, relinking ea to steam also didnt help
