Trapped on the Splash Screen

I didn't have this issue till around 8-9pm EST last night and I had started playing around noon yesterday.  I've just played my second game and it is starting again.  Attached a video showing what happens.

It begins to load the map and then it jumps to the splash screen and just keeps flickering till I hit windows key and close it from the desktop.  Never receive an error or crashes just sits there indefinitely.
