Battlefield 6 Error 0xc0000604 — August Beta Insights
• EA’s backend is rejecting some valid installs due to mismatched entitlement tokens or corrupted anti-cheat provisioning.
• The issue is not always local—some players with pristine setups are still blocked.
• EA has acknowledged “startup errors without logs” and is investigating trust-state failures.
• The error is not listed officially yet, but community reports are clustering around:
• EA App token desync
• Steam/EA account mismatch
• Missing anti-cheat provisioning during install
Reinstall via EA App Only (No Steam)
Some users bypassed the error by:
• Uninstalling BF6 from Steam
• Reinstalling directly via EA App
• Launching from EA App only (not Steam overlay or shortcut)
I tried this with no luck.
