Unable to turn off PS5 adaptive/haptic triggers on PC

I have searched everywhere in the settings for the option to turn off the haptic/adaptive trigger setting on PC BF6 but either I cannot find the setting or it just does not exist. I use a PS5 controller and using adaptive triggers is a disadvantage in multiplayer matches, and it is often recommended to turn them off.

For whatever reason they just haven't put it in the settings. I turned off the dead zone for triggers so I pretty much have trigger stops now lol.

Yeah this is a pretty big oversight but in terms of things wrong with the game I rather it be this than the netcode or gameplay. Hopefully this gets fixed before release but it'd be nice if this gets a hotfix before the second weekend.

Sometimes it adds to the immersion but I feel like the haptics here are just poorly implemented. Really puts you at a disadvantage, but yeah like the previous comment, id much rather having this issue than not being able to play at all haha

  • Regardless of it being a small issue, the problem is this shouldn't be an issue at all. It's standard to provide settings adjustments to controllers, and that means all settings.  There are plenty of other games on the market that provide on/off haptic settings.  Why does a blockbuster game like BF not have it?  It's a massive gameplay disadvantage.
