Xbox Game Pass required to play modes in battlefield 6 beta?

I installed Battlefield 6 Open Beta on my xbox one series S, linked my twitch, xbox, and steam on my EA account and watched a streamer playing battle field 6 with drops on to get an early access code...

I think it's a bug at EA end, it should be available to all from 9am BST today. Unless they're restricting it due to volume
