You need to be online when logging in for the first time

To play the beta of BF6 I installed the EA-app, logged in, all worked fine. Preload was successful and I already started the game and got to the ingame menu. Now I need to get those Twitch drops for...

    Thank you for your reply! I was succesfull in the meantime.

    SOLUTION:

    At some point I realized that all my concerns about deleted stuff from my browser are not really valid for my Mircrosoft Edge as I rarely use it and do all the important stuff with Firefox. So I deleted all data I could choose from in Edge.

    AND THAT WORKED! :D After deleting and clearing stuff I tried to log in with Edge and got it done!!!

    ps.: I wanted to alter my first post or add an additional post just below my first one where I would state that specifically your point #1 was what did help. That wasn't possible for me. Maybe you can change what I marked as solution accordingly so other users might find what was helpfull to me easier.

    EA_Leeuw​: No I don't! No Origin installed.

    As I wrote: 'To play the beta of BF6 I installed the EA-app [...]' 
    and 'Everything works fine with the app! I cannot log in the WEBPAGE ea.com.'

    I've attached a screenshot to my original post that shows the log in procedure und the error message I get! It is in german but I've put the english version of the line in the text above. ;)

    ps.: As far as I  can tell this forum is part of ea.com aswell (maybe it is still not quite the same...!?). I had to log in here to the forum for this post but I didn't have any problems in this case.

      Apollo_Johnson​ That screenshot clearly shows the Origin login screen, haha, so that threw me off there.

      Maybe you can try the following:

      1. Clear Your Browser Cache and Cookies: Old or corrupted data can sometimes cause login issues. Please clear your browser’s cache and cookies, then restart your browser and try again.
      2. Try a Different Browser or Incognito/Private Mode: Sometimes, browser extensions or settings can interfere with the login process. Try using a different browser or opening a private/incognito window to see if the issue persists.
      3. Check Your Internet Connection: Make sure you have a stable internet connection. If you’re using a VPN or proxy, try disabling it, as these can sometimes interfere with authentication.
      4. Review Firewall and Antivirus Settings: Temporarily disable your firewall or antivirus software to see if it’s blocking the connection. If this resolves the issue, add EA.com as an exception in your security software.
      5. Sync Your Computer’s Date and Time: Ensure your PC’s date and time are set correctly, as incorrect settings can cause authentication errors.
      6. Flush Your DNS Cache: Open Command Prompt as an administrator and enter: ipconfig /flushdns. Then restart your browser and try again.
